 | Hilariously funny and sweet Jan 20, 2010 |
The wit in this book was fantastic. I was so sad to see it end. I enjoyed the charachters so much that after the 'End' -- I went on and finished the rest of the story in my own head. I LOVED Sadie Maddox. I just laughed OUT LOUD so many times -- and it just pained me so much not to share it with someone, so I'd insist that my kids sit down and listen to excerpts of the book... (My children will probably tell you that this is an understatement).... :-)
| | | | Not your typical romance novel!! Dec 16, 2009 |
| Act Two is a humorous, romantic novel, that engages the reader, chapter to chapter, Kimberly Stewart keeps her writing fresh, humorous, but yet very real and true to life. I grew up on a pig farm in Iowa, so I really enjoyed the "city girls" take and the aroma and the simple life of rural Iowa. Kimberly delivers another delightfully entertaining novel that allows the reader to feel part of the story, not like an outsider looking in!! I highly recommend all of Kimberly Stewart's novels, they are fresh, funny and real to life!! | | | | a new author to love Oct 13, 2009 |
| Glad I branched out and tried adding a new author to my Christian fiction library. Kimberly Stuart has a refreshing voice, great humor, and considerable character development skills. I especially liked that the saccharine factor was nearly nonexistent. Many in the genre write safe and "nice" dialogue for everyone, when in reality, a little admonition and correction/rebuke is necessary! You go, girl! | | | | A pleasure to find, Nov 20, 2008 |
| This book was fun and entertaining. Being from Iowa, I related to the feelings and subtle references to the rural mid-west living. I got a few raised eyebrows while reading it on the plane because I laughed out loud several times, but you can't help it. | | | | If you want to laugh.. Nov 17, 2008 |
| try this one out. It's just a funny story about a lady you'll try hard not to like, in situations you can't help but chuckle at. Perfect escapism for serious time. There isn't page in the book that doesn't have sarcasm, wisecracking or outright hilarity. | | | Write your own review about Act Two: A Novel in Perfect Pitch
